Taking place on 17 November, World Prematurity Day is a global movement to raise awareness of premature birth.
To take part, we're asking you to organise a World Prematurity Day fundraiser. You could fundraise as an individual, with a community group or even on a neonatal unit (if your hospital allows).
Take part in a magical lantern-lit walk. You can host your Little Lights walk anytime that suits you. Many people choose to focus their walk in November, around the 17 November for World Prematurity Day. But you can choose a date that means the most to you.
Holding a Little Lights walk is a perfect opportunity to get together with family, friends or colleagues and light up the night for babies born premature or sick.

You could also host a Wear Purple Day for World Prematurity Day and ask everyone to donate £1 to wear something purple on your neonatal unit, workplace or school.
