The Baby Charter team would like to communicate a temporary change in the audit submission process, that will affect units in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Please note that this doesn’t affect any units in Scotland, who can continue to submit audits at any time during this period.
During the last five months we have recorded a high level of engagement from units across the country, which has been really positive and has resulted in many audits being submitted to us, alongside several units becoming ready for Silver and Gold assessments.
We have been very impressed by the huge amount of work units have put into the auditing process and getting their unit ready to be in a good position to reach the next stage in the Baby Charter. However, as we only have limited resource in the team, and despite our efforts, this is unfortunately resulting in a delay in providing feedback to audits that have been submitted to us recently.
As a team, we always strive to give due care and attention to each individual unit, and it is our aim to continue to support units to the best of our ability. Because of this, we have taken the decision to pause audit submissions for three months, from 1 August to 31 October, to allow us time to prioritise the units who are waiting for feedback on audits they have recently submitted.
During this time audit submission on the digital tool will be disabled, however access to the digital audit tool will remain open for anyone who wants to continue to work on their audit and upload evidence. This is something we would actively encourage as we will be accepting audits again starting from 1 November.
We understand that this might be disappointing news for some; if you have any questions, please let us know by contacting [email protected]. The team remains available to continue to provide support to units during this period.
Thank you,
The Baby Charter Team
