This leaflet has been written especially to answer the questions parents might have when they first arrive on the unit.
It explains how neonatal care works, who parents might see on the unit, what the equipment does, the care their baby might get, and how they can parent their baby on the unit. It also has helpful ideas for getting more support, and places to write down questions parents might have, or notes on how they're feeling.
A double sided A5 flyer translated into Polish, Arabic, Somali, Urdu and Punjabi giving families more detail about information to help them be more involved in their baby’s care.
An A5 double sided info card giving parents tips on how to get involved in their baby’s care on the unit.
You could also direct parents to the looking after your baby on the neonatal unit (or tell them to search on the Bliss site for 'looking after your baby' or 'family centred care').
